While the people of Lewisburg First United Methodist Church channel the grace of God to
each other, we also offer care to people in our community who are hurting and who are
in need! In the view of the pastor, “Blessed would be any church (per capita) that
could match the generosity and heart for outreach that this congregation possesses!”

The Care Kitchen serves meals the first and third Thursdays of the month at 5:45 p.m. in McKnight Hall.
The Marshall County Care Kitchen is a partnership of about 12 different churches that rotate in
providing hot food to those who come to the beautiful setting of McKnight Hall in our McKnight
Ministry Center. Our guests from the community enjoy food, hot and cold beverages and fellowship
at round tables. The Care Kitchen is about more than just the food. Varying churches who participate
in the ministry offer live music, devotionals and prayer time. Guests leave with care packages.
We presently have six people from our congregation that coordinate and help the rotating churches
in the week by week administration of the ministry.

interviewed and helped financially to aid them in their challenges.
