Our Ministries with Youth are led by our Youth Director, Michael Wilkinson. Michael is a gifted and dedicated director of our youth ministries. We also have several gifted and dedicated spiritually mature adults who work with Michael in facilitating an active and well balanced approach to youth ministry. We are all about making young disciples of Jesus Christ.

Youth have several opportunities during the week to gather for spiritual formation, Christian fellowship and worship.

On Sunday mornings youth participate in Unite at 9:40 a.m. at McKnight Hall with Adults. They enjoy live contemporary Christian music provided by gifted young professional musicians. They then break into their own group of youth with adult leaders to study relevant Bible related stories and lessons.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship meets on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. in the Henry White Center or Youth House as they refer to it. They enjoy food, fellowship, devotional lessons and worship

Youth meet during the week in the Youth House for Bible Study and fun times on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Heaven’s Voices Youth Choir is a very gifted group of young singers directed by Debbie Logue. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. in the Music Room. Their contemporary choral songs of praise are wonderfully uplifting and inspirational.

Mt. TOP – Tennessee Outreach Project In early summer our youth participate in this week long missions venture to residents of Middle Tennessee Cumberland Mountains. Our young people and adult leaders join groups of youth from around the region to do home repairs and relate to the residents of the mountainous areas. They also go back to camp in the late afternoons and enjoy together as a large group food, fellowship and worship. These Christ centered, missions related trips become formational to the people who participate.

Warmth in Winter Another major yearly venture of our youth is to participate as a group in Warmth In Winter which is held in January. 2000 young people from around middle Tennessee gather for fellowship, worship and spiritual formation over a weekend in the Murfreesboro area.
